old news	september 2006 news massive marrows 30 september 2006 the annual derby massive marrow fest. no entry from beeston this year, not that we were missed at all. the clarkes 29 september 2006 a long-awaited catch up and great food with chris, rachel and rufus. manchester chops 24 september 2006 into the city for lunch at mister thomas's chop house. get caught up in the labour party conference. how inconvenient! manchester jam 23 september 2006 up to manchester to spend the evening catching up with ian. fab meal out at the jam street café. 60th 19 september 2006 happy 60th birthday rod! washing 18 september 2006 as ever spend most of the day washing holiday clothes and dreading going back to work! a long day travelling 17 september 2006 very virtuous but very tired having spent all day travelling by train to get home. left albi at 6.50am; arrived back at beeston at 11.10pm that night! knackered but very green! final holiday day 16 september 2006 our first non-walking day in a week, taxi back to albi from brousse le chateau - the prettiest but wettest village in france at the moment. albi a gorgeous medieval city, once the home of toulose la trec and has the largest brick-built building in the world. you should go there! walking holiday 11 - 15 september 2006 walking along the tarn valley - full itinerary and photos on flickr! great walking, great hotels, great food, brought the average inntravel age down by about 10 years at least. unfortunately the weather deteriorated over the week so by saturday we were soaked to the skin and had no dry clothes left. managed to get by en francais! the tarn valley is a very beautiful part of the world which we didn't know about before. holiday day 2 10 september 2006 not so great to have to be at waterloo to catch the 8am eurostar to paris, but looking forward to our week-long walking holiday with inntravel along the tarn valley in the south of france. manage to make all our connections, and arrive tired but hot in albi 16 hours later holiday day 1 9 september 2006 thankfully it's the start of our summer holiday. one night in london at the oxford street yha - what a beautiful late summer's evening and what a nice way to start our holiday. case gala diner 7 september 2006 case gala diner at colwick hall very nice setting - alison even got her hair done, and we make it into nottinghamshire today! wow! case day 1 5 september 2006 first day of the case conference for alison at east midlands conference centre. first of 3 days of discussing marketing universities…. nice. jean for diner 3 september 2006 jean comes over for a spot of sunday lunch.
