old news	february 2006 news happy birthday gerry 27 febraury 2006 happy birthday dave 26 febraury 2006 happy 60th dave! food and drink 25 febraury 2006 the weekend's drinking continues with a fantastic lunch with sandie at alistairs; watch scotland vs england in the rugby - a result for scotland makes the six nations far more interesting, and then to the yacht club to celebrate dave's 60th birthday. don't think we could have fitted much more into the day! essex 24 february 2006 we head on to essex for dave's birthday weekend. a good catch up down the ship with ian. escape to london 23 february 2006 alison manages to escape boots and work, and head down to london. meet with sam and have an excellent catch up and girlie gossip. can't believe we haven't seen each other in so long. then onto chinawhite for craik jones' 15th birthday party. not sure that chinawhite was all that great, but the free drink was! walking in the peak 18 february 2006 if only every saturday walking in the peak could be like this? a fantastic 8 miles round froggatt edge in beautiful blue skies and sunshine. could have been summer rather than winter! naturally the evening finishes down the vic - and we're all in bed by 11pm. life on the edge in beeston! a quiet friday with friends 17 february 2006 dawn & nicki arrive: our quiet night in preparing for a hard day's walking doesn't go to plan - 4 bottles of wine and some gins later… blood 16 febraury 2006 simon manages to donate blood for the fourth time without fainting. well done! happy valentine's day 14 february 2006 hello heather 13 febraury 2006 finally al gets to have a girlie catch up with heather. lots to catch up as we've not seen each other in months…must be working too hard. rugby 12 february 2006 more rugby - wales vs scotland - wales win. and we have the best home-made sunday lunch ever! no football 11 february 2006 well we were going to watch nottingham forest vs swansea but justin forgot to buy the tickets. instead we wander round town, visit the olde trip to jerusalem and then head back for a few drinks in town. apparently saltwater now seems to be back in favour. lindsey & nerys 10 february 2006 lindsey & nerys come up for the weekend and we introduce nerys to the delights of the vic. girls/boys weekend 5 february 2006 somehow we both make it home, and end up down the vic. what a fun packed weekend. girls/boys weekend 4 february 2006 cambridge: girlie shopping trip and two hours at the benefit counter in boots. thanks to kat and the girls for making it so special! even manage two clubs in one night - so much for being old eh? swansea: a day spent suffering with hangovers, before watching england vs wales in the rugby - unfortunately england won! girls/boys weekend 3 february 2006 girlie and bloke weekends away: simon goes to swansea to see linds and al goes to cambridge to see nicki. simon starts his weekend off with a very large house party!
