old news	july 2005 news partying too hard 30/31 july 2005 (not really sure where the two days ended!) manage to get ian and caroline to come and visit, although they miss out on the fabulous end-of-festival bbq at the victoria. somehow we manage to stay there and enjoy the bands and the beer. then we head off into town for a quick drink and then onto stealth for felix da housecat. it's been a long time since we had a good dance and even make some good smiley friends. strangely we don't do a lot on sunday. heather 29 july 2005 finally get together with heather for a long overdue catch up the vic 24 july 2005 unfortunately the weather gets the better of us, but at least we manage to get to the victoria. flying and theatre 23 july 2005 aren't we busy today: dad goes to the rolls royce model jet air display at hucknall, al makes more jam and then we all go to newstead for more outdoor theatre. what better way to spend a summer's evening than watching comedy of errors with a glass of wine and a fine picnic. hello dad 22 july 2005 al's dad is up to visit for the weekend. more strawberries 21 july 2005 more strawberry picking after work - maybe we'll look like strawberries soon? curry & quiz 18 july 2005 finally allow ourselves a trip to the victoria to take part in the curry & quiz night with lou and ian. steady progress is made on our normal team position - now a healthy mid table finishing position. volunteering 17 july 2005 we spend a fab day at a nature reserve north of mansfield, re-building dry stone walls with the btcv. pyo 16 july 2005 simon finds the best pyo strawberry place in the world and we get to make the best homemade strawberry jam in the world. nigella would be pleased. doing things differently no 31 3 july 2005 alison supports nottingham city council and goes and sees pride & prejudice at newstead summer stage, fantastically performed by illyria. lunch with malini 2 july 2005 a great lunch with shreek, madhu and little malini - very cute! 20twenty 1 july 2005 our first 20twenty match at trent bridge. a fun evening watching nottinghamshire lose to derbyshire.
