| so it is about 30 degrees here and lovely and sunny!!! we believe the uk may have had snow!! just a quick update to wish you all a very merry christmas and a fantastic new year. we will be thinking of you all as we see family, new friends and watch james bond and think of chestnuts roasting on a open fire! been a couple of hectic weeks: celebrating simon's birthday by visiting the great ocean road (click here for pics). you'll be pleased to know that we proved 30 year olds can still party harder than the rest, and educated our group of younger backpackers in the drinking game of 'bunnies'. and then for our first proper trip 'interstate' to stay with a friend who is leaving for the uk at the end of December (be nice to her when we give rachel you all as fab contacts to visit!). a lovely relaxing weekend in wodonga-albury on the nsw border, visiting wineries and eating lush food. keep an eye out for us at the boxing day cricket test at the mcg as we have tickets for the friday. we will be the sunburnt poms with the st george flag cheering everybody! skip to jan 2004 |
