Happy Birthday Mum

A quick visit down to essex to celebrate mum's birthday - very nice italian. wet weather on sunday means that we leave early, having visited the suffolk food hall and had a bit of celeb spotting thrown in aswell. hello griff rhys-jones!

Goodbye Sangita

Sad day at BLS Marketing today as Sangita Mistry leaves NTU today. Nearly one year after her marriage she finally has a found a job nearer Birmingham and her husband. Have a great night drinking too much rose for a thursday. She cried at her leaving speech - ah! bless!

having finally given into the power of facebook several months ago, now facebook friends with mr leon cowley - whose birthday it is today. happy birthday mr cowley.

... came for tea. mr seal still with leg in plaster from his ruptured achillies. might moan about my ankle but at least it's not that bad.

another day of glorious views and the sun makes it out as well. a morning of lazing around the tents, then an afternoon of lazing on the beach.

shell island

brother ian finally persuades us to head to shell island for his birthday weekend. looks like we are heading to the wrong side of the country for the sunshine though.

arrive in plenty of time and get set up... its a fantastic location with great views.

bank holiday diy

It's bank holiday so it's the rules that you have to do diy. Spent the whole weekend decorating the hall.... not a vastly different colour but it looks a lot tidier. life on the edge in beeston.

food at the vic

it's ok, we had food at the Vic this evening. feels like we haven't been there in ages. even better to be there with lou & ian joseph & their bump.
