happy birthday wayne

after a day of running around with tutorials and a 2 hour show on purple radio, we head off to derby to help wayne celebrate his birthday. great as always to catch up with wayne, hayley and the derby crew. great beers at the brewery tap including their 'rack' - 5 third of a pints and a bowl of cheese!

snow

it's been a winter wonderland today with lots of snow overnight and into this morning. unfortunately england seems to be grinding to a halt with it all. can't believe it took me 1 1/2hrs to get into work this morning! madness.

so last time i went bowling with work... 2 years ago, i got my best ever score of 272. So how come this time I only managed 88 and 115?

it's my birthday

...and we've celebrated with a weekend away in and around harrogate. no walking, just mooching round the shops and parks, and then a very nice spa break at handpicked hotel's wood hall spa. very nice, particularly with the room upgrade - i could get used to living like this!
